Accurate and Professional Document Services
Greetings! I’m Olga Petrov - dedicated, experienced translator, based in NYC (serving Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island) with a deep understanding of American, Russian and Ukrainian bureaucratic systems. Every job reflects my commitment to clarity, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
My Story
I have lived in New York City since 1993, and in 2013 I founded my certified and notarized translation business. What began as a passion for working with documents gradually grew into a full professional service.
Before launching my translation business, I worked for many years as an administrative assistant in a variety of business environments across New York. This experience gave me a strong foundation in handling official records, preparing accurate paperwork, and meeting the highest standards of detail and professionalism. These skills became the basis for the quality translation work I provide today.
Over the past decade, I have provided certified and notarized translations of thousands of official documents for clients preparing applications with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Immigration Court. My work includes certified and notarized translation service for asylum declarations, birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, passports, military service books, witness statements, medical records, and more. Each translation is certified to meet the requirements of USCIS and Immigration Court proceedings.
I am a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and also specialize in the translation of educational documents – such as diplomas, transcripts, high school diplomas – for credential evaluations, university applications (including the CUNY system), and professional licensing. My certified translations are accepted by leading credential evaluation agencies including World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). They are also recognized by professional licensing bodies such as the New York State Board of Law Examiners (NY BOLE), the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE), the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and LLM Credential Assembly Service, state Boards of Accountancy working with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and NASBA, the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), and the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
Working closely with immigration attorneys has given me invaluable insight into the exact requirements of USCIS, Immigration Court, and licensing agencies. The direct feedback I have received over the years has allowed me to refine my process and anticipate clients’ needs for successful immigration case resolutions. My mission is to provide fast, reliable, and affordable certified translations that reduce stress and support each case with clarity and credibility.
